Funeral Fundraiser Created for Nick Doherty

One piece of additional information is a GoFundMe campaign titled Support for Nick’s Funeral Costs. The fundraiser, organized by Chloe S. of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, says donations will help cover Nick Doherty’s funeral expenses and provide assistance to his father during the difficult period.

The fundraising page offers some support for the claim that a family is preparing for funeral expenses. However, it does not provide enough independently verifiable information to establish Nick’s age, exact location, date of death, or the circumstances surrounding his reported disappearance.
